How the Nishi Partner Program works
Everything below in plain language: how you're credited, what you earn, when you get paid, what you can and can't say, and what isn't allowed. Our goal is that you always understand exactly what you're looking at and why.
1. How you're credited (your link, code & the cookie window)
- You earn when someone uses your code or link at checkout. That's the moment credit is assigned to you.
- 30-day window. When someone clicks your link, we remember it for 30 days. If they come back and subscribe within that window, you're credited; they don't have to buy on the first visit.
- Last touch wins. If a person clicks more than one partner's link, the most recent one before they check out gets the credit.
- The code must be applied before or during checkout. Once a subscription is created with your code, that credit is locked in and won't be reassigned. A code entered after a purchase does not earn.
- The code is the source of truth. The discount code actually applied at checkout is what determines the commission. A click alone, without your code being used, doesn't pay. This keeps crediting fair and disputes-free for everyone.
2. What you earn (and how renewals work)
- Commission is a percentage of what Nishi actually keeps on the subscription: the amount collected after the customer's discount, minus payment-processing and app-store fees, and minus tax. App-store fees are higher, so an in-app subscription nets less than a web one.
- Trials don't pay; conversions do. You earn when a free trial converts to a paid subscription, not when the trial starts.
- Subsequent years. Some partnerships pay only on the first paid year; others include renewals at a set rate per year. Your specific schedule is in your agreement and is reflected in your dashboard as those renewals convert.
- Your rate is locked at the time of each referral. If program rates change later, referrals you already made keep the terms they were made under.
3. When & how you get paid
- 30-day hold. A commission sits in Pending for 30 days after the payment. This covers refunds and disputes so we only pay on revenue that sticks.
- Pending → Available → Paid out. After the hold it becomes Available (in your next payout), then Paid out once sent to you.
- $50 minimum. Payouts are sent once your Available balance reaches $50, on a regular schedule, to the payout account you connect.
- Refunds & disputes reverse commission. If a customer you referred refunds or disputes within the window, the related commission is reversed. If it was already paid out, it's recovered from future earnings. This is automatic and always visible here.
4. What you can and can't say
You know your audience best, and your authentic voice is why this works. A few rules keep both of us safe and compliant:
- Always disclose the partnership. The FTC requires a clear disclosure that you're a paid partner (for example, “#ad” or “paid partnership”), visible and up front, not buried.
- Share your genuine experience and the approved messaging we provide.
- Don't make health or weight-loss claims that aren't approved. No promises of specific or guaranteed results (“lose X pounds,” “guaranteed weight loss”), no cure/treatment/medical claims, and nothing implying Nishi is a drug or a substitute for medical care. Both you and Nishi are legally responsible for claims you make, so when in doubt, use our approved wording or ask first.
- No misleading or false statements about Nishi, pricing, or the offer.
- Consequences. Claims that break these rules can mean removal from the program and, per your agreement, reversal of related commissions.
5. What isn't allowed (fraud & abuse)
- No self-referral. Using your own code for your own subscription (or coordinating that) isn't permitted.
- No cookie stuffing. Dropping tracking without a genuine click or visit (for example, forcing your link to load invisibly) is prohibited and forfeits any resulting commissions.
- No incentivized, spam, or misleading traffic, fake accounts, or unauthorized paid ads on Nishi's brand terms.
- We monitor for abnormal patterns. Unusual conversion behavior may be held for review. Confirmed abuse forfeits the related commissions and can end the partnership.
6. Your audience's privacy
We will never tell you who your referrals are. You'll always see conversions and earnings; you'll never see a name, email, or any personal detail, by design and by law. That's also why some views are shown as grouped totals: it keeps any single person un-identifiable. It's a protection you can proudly pass on to your audience.
7. Accuracy you can rely on
Every figure in your dashboard is generated automatically from payment records. Nothing is entered or adjusted by hand. If a number ever looks off, reach your Nishi partner contact: each figure traces back to a specific payment event, so anything can be explained.
A note on this page. This is a plain-language summary to help you understand how the program works. Your signed Partner Agreement is the binding document; if anything here differs from it, the agreement controls. Program terms may change with notice, and changes apply to future referrals only.
